We believe excelling at design is more than just making brands look and sound good: It’s about communicating with your audience in a way that elicits an emotional response.
Great design begins with understanding your market – and uses thoughtful brand strategy to inform smart creative. This belief informs and inspires everything we do at Affina.
Founded by Renita Van Dusen in 2003, Affina quickly developed an impressive client list, including Wilsons Leather, Marshall Field’s, and Mall of America. With an exceptionally creative team steeped in brand strategy, we welcomed a wide range of challenges including product and packaging design for the Jacqueline Kennedy: The White House Years exhibit with Marshall Field’s. In 2007, we were chosen as one of two agencies of record for Imation.
As our client list grew, we realized a particular passion for working with female entrepreneurs and helping all brands discover how to effectively market to women. We believe – and studies show – most companies don’t realize the power of women in the marketplace. Even if they do realize designing brands for women is important, many companies don’t know how to do it effectively, or they’re afraid to alienate men. That’s why we’ve immersed ourselves in what works – and what doesn’t. We’re excited to share that message and help brands discover how to communicate in a way that intrigues and activates.
We invite you to join us as we create communications and experiences that engage all of the senses and, most important, are infused in your brand.
And, of course, we are WBENC certified.
